VCE VET Dance course is a vocational education program that combines both theoretical and practical learning, providing students with skills, knowledge, and qualifications for a career in the dance industry.
The VCE VET (Victorian Certificate of Education Vocational Education and Training) Dance program equips young people with the technical and performance skills, knowledge and understanding of the arts and entertainment industry.
It provides students with learning opportunities to grow and apply their understanding of safe dance and physical conditioning techniques, collaborative choreographic and performance experiences. The skills learnt are transferable to everyday movement and fitness, further training in dance and performance, and a deeper appreciation of dance and the performing arts. Students will study two styles of dance for VCE VET.

VCE VET Dance is a 2 year program completed as part of VCE studies.
Students that successfully complete VCE VET Dance are awarded with a Certificate II in Dance and the option to receive a VCE study score and ATAR contribution.
